Obituary

Adam S. Bisson, 38, of New Bedford, passed away at home unexpectedly on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Susan (Lowney) Stanton, of New Bedford, and the late Donald R. Bisson.

He worked in hospitality and restaurant service at various locations for about fifteen years, including Chili's of Somerset. A history buff, Adam enjoyed reading and keeping up with the latest frontiers of science. Adam also enjoyed music, the outdoors, was an avid Bruins fan. He loved spending quality time with his family, especially his nieces.

A real people person, Adam could make friends with anyone. He enjoyed lending a hand whenever needed, and making people smile.

Besides his mother, he is survived by: three siblings, Ryan Bisson of Springfield, MA, Eric Bisson of Warren, RI, and Megan Stanton of New Bedford; two nieces, Alaya and Aryia; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Following a private cremation, a Memorial Service was held on Friday, September 19th, during a visitation period in our Fall River Chapel.
