Adelaide "Ida" Botelho, 88, of Fall River, widow of John O. Botelho, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born in, and a lifelong resident of, Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Teixeira and the late Maria (Almeida) Teixeira. Employed as a button hole machine operator in the local garment industry for many years prior to her retirement, she worked at the former Tioga Sportswear and at the former Franconia Sportswear (both formerly of Fall River).

Ida enjoyed knitting and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by: a daughter, Maureen Botelho of Fall River; two grandchildren, Jason Botelho and Robin Blanchette; three great grandchildren, Lexie, Jason, Hannah Rae, and Mariah; and several nieces & nephews. She was also a sister of the late Eulalia "Lolly" Luz, Mary Teixeira, Margaret "Peggy" Almeida, and Manuel "Mugsy" Teixeira.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 4th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
