Adele (Karam) Kawkabani, 95, of Fall River, died comfortably at home on Feb. 23, 2008 after a brief illness. Widow of Massoud Kawkabani, daughter of the late Assad and Alia (Webbe) Karam. Aloving mother, she is survived by a son, Adib Kawkabani of Boston, daughter, Madeline Michael of Fall River, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren (4 local and 6 overseas), niece, Nabiha Michael of Fall River and several other nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Chakib Kawkabani. Chorbishop Joseph Kaddo celebrated her funeral Mass at St. Anthony of the Desert Church. After the service, she was carried to her place of rest in St. Patrick's Cemetery by Chadi Kawkabani, John and Gary Michael, Glenn Viens, Gerald Forcier and Joseph Camara.
