Adelino P. Elias, 77, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday after a long illness. Husband of Zenaide (Ferreira) Elias, to whom he was married for 52 years. Born in Povoacao, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Francisco and Ambrosina Elias. He worked at the former Plymouth Rubber Co. for over 30 years. Beloved father of Luis M. Elias (wife-Lee Ann Borges Elias), Fatima St. Pierre (husband-Richard) and the late Paul M. Elias; grandfather of Corey, Jaide and Sage Elias. Kayla and Ethan Sheffield; great grandfather of Cheyanna Lee Elias; brother of Aristedes, Francisco and Paul Jorge Elias and Valentina Pacheco, all of Canada, and Maria Resendes of Bristol, RI. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, July 19, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
