Adelino "Pee-Wee" Rego, 79, of Westport, husband of the late Evelyn (Silvia) Rego, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2009 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, son of the late Candido & Maria (Arruda) Rego, he resided in Westport for the past 36 years. An auto mechanic for many years, he retired from Barboza Ford in 1994. Even in his retirement he still enjoyed working on cars, as well as visiting his friends at the garage. He also enjoyed gambling. Survivors include: children, Sandra Rego of Westport, Jeffrey Rego (his wife, Donna) and Debra Berrier (her husband, Ray) both of Fall River; sisters, Beatrice Souza of Westport, Clara Medeiros of Swansea and Sophie Amaral of Fall River; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Manuel "Ribs" Rego. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. His committal service was held at St. Patrick Cemetery.
