Adorico Melo, 94, of Fall River, husband of the late Noemia (Raposo Melo) Aguiar, and formerly husband of the late Maria (Motta) Melo, died Saturday night at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Joao & Estrela Melo, he emigrated to Fall River in 1955. He had worked as a construction laborer with Gamino Construction for many years. Father of Octavio & Gilbert Melo and Eduarda Costa all of Fall River, Oliver Melo of Westport and Odorico Melo of Las Vegas. Brother of Manuel Melo of St. Michael, Azores, and several predeceased siblings. He also leaves 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was offered on Wednesday (9/17) in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Committal services followed at Notre Dame Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Hansen, Christopher and Greg De Mello, John, Joe, and Manny DeMelo.
