Adosinda M. Vasconcelos, 48, of Fall River and wife of Marcelino Vasconcelos, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of Valdomiro Gaspar and the late Maria Conceicao (Vicente) Gaspar.

Prior to her illness, she was the cafeteria manager at the Talbot Middle School for many years. A hard worker, she was also a very devoted wife and mother. Adosinda loved cooking, going out for coffee with her sisters and friends, and, most importantly, spending quality time with her family.

Besides her loving husband of twenty-seven years, she leaves her children, Marlene Maria Vasconcelos and her companion, Andrew Pottle, and Marcelino Vasconcelos, Jr.; her sisters, Nelia Vasconcelos and her husband, Duarte, Valdemira Teixeira and her companion, Joe Aguiar, both of Fall River, and Lucia Owens and her husband, James, of Port Richey, Florida; her brother, Manuel Gaspar and his wife, Maggie, of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, December 22nd, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
