Adriano C. Medeiros, 75, of Fall River, husband of Maria (Neto) Medeiros, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel C. & Maria F. (Silva) Medeiros, he emigrated to Fall River in 1960. Having studied agricultural engineering in Lisbon for 4 years, Adriano worked for a number of years in the field of agriculture in Portugal. He had also worked in the local construction industry for several years. A longtime musician, he loved music, and also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Besides his wife, he is survived by: a daughter, Sally Medeiros, and a son, Michael Medeiros, both of Fall River; 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Alex, Nicole, Nathan & Dylan; several nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was offered in Santo Christo Church He was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery.
