Adriano Dinis Ferreira Moniz, 57, of Fall River, husband of Maria N. (Almeida) Moniz, passed away at home on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Jose & Maria C. (Pispo) Correia, he emigrated to Fall River in 1990. A laborer who greatly enjoyed his job, he worked for many years with Newport Construction. He also enjoyed watching soccer and cheering for Benfica.

Besides his wife, he is survived by: two daughters, Renata Moniz and Carina Moniz both of Fall River; four siblings, Fatima Miranda of Florida, Antonio Correia of Fall River, Jose & Carlos Correia both of St. Michael, Azores; two grandchildren, Victoria Costa & John Raposa; his mother-in-law, Deolinda Moreira of St. Michael, Azores; five brothers-in-law, Lino Raposo of Nashua, NH, Luis, Rui, Alvaro & Roberto Raposo all of St. Michael, Azores; many nieces and nephews. He was also a brother of the late Jose Maria Correia; and brother-in-law of the late Joao Raposo.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 3rd, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
