Agnes Raposo, 91, of Fall River, widow of Edward Raposo, died Friday after a long illness. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph S. & Maria (de Melo) Bernardo. She last worked at Cherry & Webb. She volunteered for St. Vincent DePaul and gathered clothes to be sent to the poor in Portugal for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and sang in the choir. Singing and music were Agnes' life. She also enjoyed singing for residents at the nursing home and spending time with her grandchildren. She leaves a daughter, Jacqueline (Raposo) Ramos of Fall River; 2 grandchildren, Darlene (Ramos) Amar of California & Michael Ramos of Fall River; 4 great grandchildren; her dear friend, 'Tia' and several nieces & nephews.
