Albert J. Santerre, 83, of Fall River, passed away on January 10, 2011. He was the husband of Mary (Rashed) Santerre. Born in Fall River, son of the late Edmond and Fabiola (Belanger) Santerre. He was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Besides his wife, Albert is survived by sons, Brian A. Santerre of New Bedford and Scott E. Santerre of Swansea; sisters, Edna Shaker and Jeanet Viveiros; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also father of the late Keith Santerre. His cremation was private. Relatives and friends celebrated His Memorial Mass on Saturday, February 26, in St. Anthony of the Desert Church.
