Albertino Cadoico Prata, 88, of Fall River and husband of the late Idalina (Fernandes) Cadoico, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 14, 2021 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Gouveia, Portugal, he was a son of the late Davide and Ascencao de Jesus Cosme Prata.

Prior to his retirement he worked as a roller inspector at Duro Manufacturing for many years. An avid Benfica fan, he also loved fishing, gardening, and traveling frequently to his homeland in Portugal. Considered to be a "jack of all trades", he also made his own wine and, in his younger days back in Portugal, was a volunteer firefighter.

He leaves: his children, Helen Vasconcelos and her husband, Manuel, Jack Cadoico and his wife, Juvenalia, and Rosemary Duarte and her husband, Afonso, all of Fall River; his seven grandchildren, Samantha Vasconcelos, Jordan Vasconcelos, Mason Vasconcelos, Ashley Singer, Andrew Cadoico, Paul Duarte, and Jennifer Duarte; one great-granddaughter, Abigail Duarte; and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, June 19th, in Good Shepherd Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
