Alberto Cordeiro, 80, of Pleasant St, husband of Guiomar (Medeiros) Cordeiro, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 after a long illness. Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Serafin & Rosa (Medeiros) Cordeiro. Self employed as a fisherman, he was the father of Eva dos Santos, Alberto & Duarte Cordeiro all of Fall River, Normanda Ponte of Westport, Luisa Gonzaga, Odete Soares, Antonio, Jose Manuel, Thomas, & Joao Carlos Cordeiro, all of St. Michael. He leaves three brothers Duarte, Alfredo & Manuel Cordeiro all of St. Michael's. He also leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. His funeral mass & interment was held in St. Michael, Azores.
