Alexandrina Medeiros Remuga, 92, of Fall River, widow of Virginio M. Remuga, died May 29, 2011 at Catholic Memorial Home after a short illness. Born in S. Pedro, Ponta Delgada, St Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Jacinto & Filomena (Boanova) Costa, she resided in Fall River for the past 27 years. She enjoyed sewing, the beach and time with her family; and she was also an avid soccer fan. Survivors include: 6 children, Pedro (wife Carlota) Medeiros of Exeter RI, and Dalia (husband Antonio) Lopes, Ana Paula (husband John) Furtado, Ildeberto, Antonio (wife Conceicao) & Jose M. (wife Helia) Medeiros all of Fall River; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St Anthony of Padua Church. She was laid to rest at St Patrick Cemetery.
