Alfred "Freddie" Arnaldo, 77, of Fall River, passed away on Sunday. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Medeiros) Arnaldo, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, son of the late Manuel F. and Maria (Pimental) Arnaldo. Freddie worked as a custodian for the Fall River Public School Department at many of the city's schools, including Osborne, Wiley and Small Elementary Schools and BMC Durfee High School. Besides his wife, Freddie is survived by his sons, Kenneth R. White and his wife, Francine Ouellette and Randal A. Arnaldo, both of Fall River; a sister, Dora Dunn of Fall River; brother-in-law, Henry Medeiros and his wife Almerinda; sister-in-law, Theresa Medeiros; a granddaughter, Kaytee Farinha; 3 step-granddaughters, Jocelyn, Danielle and Renee; great grandchildren, Jacob, Brady, Ella Grace, Emmalei, Aabie, Mason and Lucas; and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother-in-law of the late Jack Dunn and Richard Medeiros. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at the St. Dominic's Ward of St. Anne's Hospital for their professional, gentle and devoted care. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, January 24, in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Freddie was buried with Military Honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday, January 26th.
