Alfred Costa, 84, of Somerset, passed away Thursday after a long illness. Husband of Louise V. (Martin) Costa. Born in Westport, son of the late Joseph and Alice Costa. A supervisor at Anderson-Little Co, upon their closing he was their longest serving employee. He dedicated his life to his family. Beloved father of Marie Rogers (husband- Michael) of Fall River, Gerald Costa, (wife-Leslie) of Carver and Todd Costa (wife-Tracey) of Somerset; grandfather of Kyle and Ramona Rogers, Damien Arruda, Gerald McClellan, Jodi Lee LaFountain, Nicholas Casey, Bryce Costa and the late Shane Rogers; brother of Evelyn Frazier, Dorothy Farias, Natalie Silva and the late Madeline Mello, Manuel, Edward, Joseph, John, David, Bento and Louis Costa and Alice Medeiros. Fred also leaves 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, May 6, in St Patrick's Church His cremation was private.
