Alfred J. Hallal, Sr., 78, of E. Bridgewater, died February 6, 2009, after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Lila (Ristom) Hallal. Born in Patterson, New Jersey, he was raised in Fall River, and spent most of his life in Norwood where he raised his family. Father of Roberta D'Angelo of Plympton, Patti Hunter of Norton, Christine Skinner of E. Bridgewater, Linda Sutton of Grafton and Alfred Hallal, Jr. of Norwood. Brother of Edward Hallal of Swansea, William Hallal of Fall River and George Hallal of Florida. He was also a loving Gido to his thirteen grandchildren who will miss him greatly. His cremation was private. In his memory, donations may be made to the Diabetes Assoc., PO Box 1525, Fall River 02722.
