Alfred "Fred" Santos, 86, of Fall River, passed away March 25th at Highlander Nursing Center. Born in Fall River and a lifelong resident, son of the late John and Annie (Viveiros) Santos. Affectionately known as "Pee Wee", Fred managed the former Nelson Dairy for over 30 years until it closed in 1984. He enjoyed skiing in the winter and sunbathing in the summer. Mr. Santos is survived by his sister, Dolores Veloza (husband-Henry); nieces, Sandra Cates (husband-Brian) and Cynthia Araujo (husband-Bill) and several great nieces and nephews. Following his cremation, a memorial mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 18th in Holy Rosary Church. His ashes were buried with his parents at St. Patrick Cemetery.
