Alice Cabral, 95, of Fall River, wife of Joseph Cabral, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Fall River Jewish Home after a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Luiz Pereira and Mary (Souza-Gaspar) Pereira.

Prior to her retirement, she worked for the City of Fall River School system as a Teacher's Aide for many years. Alice enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing bingo and traveling to casinos to play her favorite slot machines.

Besides her loving husband of sixty-three years, she leaves her son, Wayne Cabral and his wife, Rachel, of Westport; her granddaughter Kathryn H. Rivera and her husband, Marcus; great-granddaughter Moana R. Rivera; step-grandchildren, Melodie and Dylen Lambert, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Mary Pereira, Evangeline Leite, Olivia Arruda, Mary "Connie" Furtado, Delphina Ferreira, Justina Raposa, Manuel, Carlos, Louis, Arthur, Joseph, Lawrence and William Pereira.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, December 28th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to SouthCoast Visiting Nursing Assoc. 200 Mill Road Fairhaven, MA 02719.
