Alice (Dias) Connolly, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2008. She was the widow of Arthur F. Connolly. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Lugero and Olivia (Sylvester) Dias. Mrs. Connolly worked for the Fall River Park Dept. for over 30 years. She was a member of the Fall River School Committee for 16 years and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Her survivors include a daughter, Donna K. Pavao and her husband Richard, of Fall River, a son, Myles B. Connolly of Webster, MA, grandsons, Dr. Matthew Pavao and his wife Erin and Dr. M. Richard Pavao, granddaughters, Candace Connolly and Elyse Connolly, and a great granddaughter, Madison E. Pavao. She was also mother of the late Patrick and Michael Connolly. Her funeral was private. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Silva-Faria Funeral Home.
