Alice Correia, 98, of Fall River, widow of Joao Correia, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 7, 2009. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joao C. & Maria (Bernardo) Reis, she was raised in St Michael, Azores, and returned to Fall River in 1961. Survivors include: son, Oliver Correia (and his wife Lillian) of Fall River; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Mark, Thomas & Steven Correia, and Michelle Brewer; 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, several nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late John Carlos & Ilidio Correia; and sister of the late John & Antone Reis, and Isabel Moniz. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St Anthony of Padua Church. Her committal service was held at St Patrick Cemetery. In her memory, donations may be made to Hospice Outreach, 502 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720
