Alice M. Oliver, 88, of Taunton, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, in The Arbors at Taunton Assisted Living and Memory Care. Born in Taunton, MA, a daughter of the late Cosmedo Costa and the late Alice (Soares) Costa, she was raised in Dighton and lived most of her life in Somerset.

Prior to her retirement, Alice was a supervisor at Hasbro Corporation for over 25 years and later worked at Stop & Shop of Somerset for over 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by: Joanne Albergaria of Taunton, Steven Oliver (wife Donna) of Fall River, and Leonard Oliver Jr. (wife Tracey) of Dartmouth; seven siblings, Irene Ferreira of Somerset, John Costa, Raymond Costa & Connie Cummings all of Dighton, Lillian Crosley of Taunton, Priscilla Lacerda of Somerset, and Donna Lacerda of Fall River; five grandchildren, Matthew Albergaria, Sarah Albergaria, Jess Oliver, Alexander Oliver, and Kevyn Oliver; and many nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by five siblings: Louis Costa, Louise Costa, Cosmedo Costa Jr, Caroline Nunes, and Mary Lou Oliveira.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, April 28th, at Our Lady of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery both in Somerset. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Alice's memory to a charity of your choice.
