Alice T. Pereira, 87, of Wareham, formerly of Fall River and Westport, wife of the late Norbert L. Pereira, passed away peacefully on Sunday. Born in Westport, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest T. and Lucy (Medeiros) Cabral. She worked in the local textile industry for many years prior to her retirement. She loved music, art, singing, and gardening, particularly flowers. She also enjoyed bingo and had a strong affection for animals.  A very strong-spirited, positive woman who encouraged all her children to be the best they could be. She leaves; her children, Norbert E. Pereira and his wife Jane of Maine, Daniel L. Pereira and his wife Lisa and Jeanne C. DeMarco (late-husband Edward) of R.I., and Cynthia A. Barnabe and her husband Claude of Westport; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Manuel T. Cabral and his wife Marjorie of Westport; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Delphina Macedo and Loudres C. Santos. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, May 12th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
