Alice S. (Perry) Lindo, 93, of Fall River, widow of Manuel Lindo, died Thursday, 10/29/15 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone & Teresa (Cabral Soares) Perry, she worked in the local textile industry for many years and was a member of ILGWU (now UNITE). She leaves: a son, David P. Lindo (wife-Susan) of Swansea; 3 grandsons, David A., Michael J. & Justin A. Lindo all of Swansea; many nieces & nephews. Also mother of the late Janice Lindo; sister of the late Irene Paquin, Deolinda Souza, Olive Martin, Mary Rebello Souza, Isabel Guay, and Edward, William P. & Manuel Soares; and dear friend & companion of the late Roland Pelletier. Her Funeral Service was held on Monday, November 2nd, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
