Alice A. Silvia, 74, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Widow of Leonardo Silvia. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph Alcide and Mary (Carvalho) Richard. After working at the former Durfee Mills until its closing, she served the city as a police constable. Mother of Richard, David and the late Ronald Bourbeau; sister of Clara Santos of Assonet and the late James Richard; grandmother of David Dubois, Richard Bourbeau, Jr., Jessica Sharples and Renee Mullis. She also leaves a great grandson, Anthony Mullis and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church. She was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
