Alice Souza, 91, of Laurel St., Fall River, died Saturday at Southpointe Rehab & Skilled Care Center. Born in Fall River and a lifelong resident, she was daughter of the late Francisco R. and Rose R. (Costa) Machado. She was a retired seamstress. Alice was a very active parishioner of the former St. Elizabeth Church. She leaves her son, Gregory Souza, and his wife Betty, of Tiverton, her daughter, Vanessa Seringa of Bridgewater, her granddaughters, Kris Seringa, Keri Driscoll and Sheri Souza, several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was offered on Thursday (12/27) in Holy Trinity Parish Church. Committal services followed at Notre Dame Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ron Rego, Paul Tripp, Peter Driscoll, Arnie Journeay, Tommy Machado and Frank Machado. Donations in her memory may be sent to Forever Paws Animal Shelter.
