Alipio Cordeiro, 87, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday after a short illness. Husband of the late Mary (Angelo) Cordeiro. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, son of the late Manuel and Maria (Marques) Cordeiro, he emigrated to Fall River in 1965 and worked at the former Quakers Fabrics Co. for many years. Al is survived by his son, Peter A. Cordeiro, a sister in Portugal and several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, May 14th, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
