Almerinda Silva, 89, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, September 11th, 2014. She was the wife of Franco Silva. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Serafim and Amelia (Tiador) Cordeiro. Almerinda is survived by a son, Manny Silva; a daughter, Lucy Freitas; a brother, Frederico Cordeiro; a sister, Zelia Cunha; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Maria Santa Rodrigues. Her funeral arrangements were private.
