Alzira (Dias) Medeiros, 92, of Stonehaven Rd., died Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Widow of Manuel Daniel Medeiros. Born in Santa Clara, Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, daughter of the late Mariano & Boanova Dias. Fall River resident since 1966, she was a parishioner of Espirito Santo. Survivors include a son, Alcindo Medeiros & wife Olga, and a daughter Mrs. Aires (Maria M.) Cabral, all of Fall River, brother Jose Dias of Lincoln, RI, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Sister of the late Joao, Mariano & Manuel Dias. Funeral was held Saturday, July 21, at Espirito Santo Church. Pallbearers were Freddie Cabral, Ron Medeiros, Manny Cabral, Danny Medeiros, Rocky Medeiros, and Joey DaSilva.
