Amelia Medeiros, 87, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday. She was the former wife of the late Joaquim De Sousa. Born in Plymouth, daughter of the late Antone and Maria (Alberto) Tome. Amelia is survived by daughters, Lorraine Sousa of Cambridge and Maria Costa of Fall River, a brother in Toronto, Canada, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. She was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery.
