Ana M. Medeiros

   Ana M. Medeiros, 86, of Fall River, wife of Jose D. Medeiros, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Furnas, St. Michael, Azores, a daughter of the late Joao Medeiros and the late Laurentina (Mauricio) Medeiros, she emigrated to Fall River in 1960.

   Employed at Catholic Memorial Home for many years as a certified nursing assistant, retiring in 2006, Ana was always busy, working with her hands and helping people. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, and yard sales. Ana was also an excellent cook and baker, whose true passion was caring for and spending time with her family.

   Besides her husband of 65 years, she is survived by: three children, John J. Medeiros of Fall River, Richard Medeiros of Fall River (partner Stephen Flaherty of Buzzards Bay) and Fatima Seuffert (husband Steven) and her beloved grandson Evan Seuffert of Bridgewater; her sister, Fernanda Carreiro of Westport; and many cousins, nieces and nephews whom she cherished. Ana was predeceased by her eldest siblings, Maria Cremilde Medeiros, & Aida Gloria Raposo.

   Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Calling Hour to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

   Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 9:30 am from the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St, Fall River, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered in Espirito Santo Church at 10:30 am. Committal Service and interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
