Andrew S. Yousif, 76, of Westport, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.   Born in Fall River, he was the loving husband of Theresa (Nunes) Yousif and son of the late Assad Shaker Yousif and Martha (Bonamy) Yousif. He is survived by 3 children: dear daughter, Lucy Dumont (husband-Gerald) and two sons, Peter Yousif & Paul Yousif (wife Laurie). Andrew was known as "Grumpy" to his cherished grandchildren who filled his heart with their endearing love: Douglas, Joshua, Jessica, Thomas, and the late Andrew Dumont who welcomed him to eternal rest; and step-grandchildren, Danielle & Sarah Laurence. Andrew loved the sea, boating and fishing in a way that (as most fishermen would agree) the catching of fish was optional. Yet catch he often did, and many are the memories of his cleaning, frying, and sharing his bounty with family and friends on the Cherry & Webb Boat Beach at the mouth of the Westport River. Brother of Edna Medeiros, Raymond (wife Estelle), Donald & Carlton Yousif, and the late Edmund Joseph. Following his cremation, a Liturgical Celebration for the repose of his soul was offered on Saturday, March 15, in the St. Anthony of the Desert Church.
