Angela (Marcelino) Coimbra, 88, formerly of 16th St., passed away Wednesday at her current residence in No. Dartmouth. Widow of Narciso Coimbra. Born in Sao Pedro, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Joao and Maria Marcelino. She was an associate member of the Ateneu-Luso American Club. Beloved mother of Gil R. Coimbra (wife – Felicia), Adriana Marcelino (husband – John), Lydia C. Freitas (husband – the late Gil), Luisa Silva (husband – Jesse) and Maria Goretti Lussier (husband – Moe); sister of Natalia Marcelino, Isaura DaSilva, Amelia Catarina and the late Joao Marcelino, Marceline Carreiro, Maria Salgado and Irondina Rodrigues. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, December 1, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
