Angela (Marchesi) Monsour, a life-long resident of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. She was born April 25th, 1923 to the late Frank Marchesi and the late Mary (Cinquini) Marchesi. She was preceded in death by her husband James (Mony) Monsour whom she first met at the beach at Ocean Grove the summer after WWII. The two spent many evenings dating, dancing and skating at Lincoln Park.

As a young woman, she worked in the factories of Fall River then made her way as a secretary and finally, put herself through college and became a teacher of Home Economics in the Fall River Schools. Her greatest love was spending time in her home and garden, expressing her care and creativity through cooking and sewing.

"Nena" will be dearly missed by her three daughters, Maryanne Monsour, Melanie Monsour and Margaret Monsour, son-in-law, Robert Santos and grandchildren, Arielle Santos and Julian Santos as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Her cremation was private and her ashes will be interred next to her husband's at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. The family will have a private Memorial and Celebration of her life at a later date.
