Angele H. Ameen, 97, of Wareham, formerly of Fall River, widow of Thomas Ameen, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at Tremont Health Care Center, Wareham. Born in Jezzine, Lebanon, a daughter of the late Nehme Heneine and the late Nazera (Abozeid) Heneine, she emigrated to Fall River in 1965.

A teacher assistant in the Fall River School System for many years, Angele loved children and enjoyed working well into her nineties. She was also a member of the Lebanon-American Society.

She is survived by two siblings, Rausette Boulos (husband Abed) and Lucy Heneine both of Lebanon, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceasing her are four siblings, Abraham Heneine, Adele Hartouche, Laura Heneine, and Joseph Heneine.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 12th, in the St. Anthony of the Desert Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery both in Fall River.
