Angelina M. Ferreira, 90, of Fall River & Westport, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family on January 29, 2010. She was the wife of the late Jose Moso Ferreira. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel & Maria do Carmo (Medeiros) Coroa, she emigrated to Fall River in 1966. Employed in the local textile industry until retiring in 1981, she worked at the former Semesta Junior and former Bo-Mar. A devoted wife, mother & grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Survivors include: 3 children, Zenaide Elias (husband-Adelino) of Fall River, Margarida Triplett (husband-Richard) of California, Carlos Ferreira (wife-Connie) and Maria Raposo (husband-Eduardo) both of Westport; 1 sister, Olivia Paiva of Swansea; 8 grandchildren, Louis, Fatima, Michelle, Dennis, Gilbert, Stephanie, Kevin & Scottie; 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, many nieces & nephews. She was also grandmother of the late Paul M. Elias; and sister of the late Jose & Daniel Coroa. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St Anthony of Padua Church on Tuesday (2/2) followed by a committal service at St Patrick Cemetery.
