Angelina (Soares) Lopes, 87, formerly of Pleasant St., passed away Thursday after a long illness. Widow of Faustino Lopes. Born in Porto Formoso, St. Michael, Azores. Beloved mother of Joseph Lopes (wife-Gail), Mary Medeiros (husband-Julio), Theresa Botelho (husband-John), Rosie Pavao (husband-John), Venilde Batista, Mary Cordeiro, Gerry Lopes-Charron (husband –Don), Lisa Lopes and the late John Lopes. She also leaves 13 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, June 2, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
