Angelina (Rezendes) Moniz, 93, formerly of Swansea, passed Saturday after a short illness. Widow of Elmiro "Clint" Moniz. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia Rezendes. Angie worked at the former Fernandes Supermarket for many years and then at Sears in Swansea for several more. She was an active parishioner at St. John of God Church. Beloved mother of Michael E. Moniz (wife-Patricia) and Ralph J. Moniz (significant other-Linda Miller); grandmother of Brian, Cynthia and Victoria Moniz; sister of the late Manuel "Kenny" Rezendes, Mary Correia and Sophia Reis. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Calling hours were held on Tuesday, November 17th, in our Somerset Chapel. Her burial was private.
