Angelo G. Ferreira, 79, of Fall River, husband of Maria Branco, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at St. Anne's Hospital after an illness. Born in St. Michael, Azores, a son of the late Joao Ferreira and the late Maria Encarnacao Bento, he emigrated to Fall River in 2000. He worked in the local textile industry for a number of years, retiring form Quaker Fabric. Angelo enjoyed watching soccer and game shows.

Besides his wife of 55 years, he is survived by: five children, Roberto Ferreira of St. Michael, Azores, Luis Ferreira of Fall River, Rui Ferreira of St. Michael, Azores, Joao Ferreira of Fall River, and Sonia Ferreira of Fall River; two siblings, Antonio Ferreira & Liberta Ferreira both of St. Michael, Azores; four grandchildren, Nuno, Rita, Luis, and Sara; one great grandson, Brayden; and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, May 22nd, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Angelo's memory to a charity of one's choice.
