Angelo Petrasso, Jr., 82, formerly of McGowan St. passed away on January 10, 2009 at Kimwell Health Care Center. Husband of the late Hortense (Moniz) Petrasso. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Angelo and Mary (Botelho) Petrasso. Angelo was a Navy Veteran of WW II and loved ballroom dancing. He was the father of Joanne Petrasso, Kenneth Petrasso and Linda Crossley; grandfather of Stephanie Niewola, Danielle Lobo, Kenneth J. and Joel T. Petrasso, Jennifer Crossley and Jamie Almeida; great grandfather of Christopher, Tyler and Sean; brother of Alphonso Petrasso, Adeline Tafuri, Caroline Santos, Frances Manville, Irene Petrasso and the late Alfred and Dominic Petrasso and Carmella Carvalho. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church. Pallbearers Richard Crossley, Kevin Almeida, Joel, Kenneth and Gerald Petrasso and Gerald Lobo brought Angelo to his final resting place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
