Angelo C. Raposo, age 53, passed away at the Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River on Saturday, November 13, 2010, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Cynthia (Karasch) Raposo of Fall River. Born in the village of Agua Retorta, on the island of Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of Angelo Pereira and Maria Gloria (Cabral) Pereira of Sao Miguel, Azores. After residing in Sao Miguel for ten years he moved to Fall River with his family and was later naturalized as a citizen of the United States. Angelo has been employed for many years as a carpenter with the CEK Construction Company of Canton, Massachusetts. He was a member of the Don Carlos Club in Fall River. In addition to his wife, Cynthia, and his parents, Angelo and Maria, surviving family members include a son, Angelo L Raposo of Fall River, a daughter, Jessica A. Raposo of Fall River, two brothers, Louis Raposo of Fall River, and Manuel Raposo of Agua Retorta, Sao Miguel, a sister, Maria Pereira, also of Agua Retorta, and two grandchildren, Christian Bouchard and Emily Bouchard. Angelo will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, and his many friends. Funeral His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, November 17, in St Anthony of Padua Church, followed by a committal service at St Patrick Cemetery.
