Anibal S. Raposo, 80, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday. He was the husband of Isilda (Ferreira) Raposo, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Born in Cavoada, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel S. and Rosa (Duarte) Raposo. Anibal greatly enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his daughters, Nellia Nasiff of North Dartmouth, Julie Medeiros of Westport, Linda Medeiros and Wendy Sousa, both of Fall River; a brother, Gilberto Raposo of Fall River; a sister, Maria Fernandes of St. Michael, Azores; grandchildren, Eston, Monique, Krystel, Matthew, Kourtney, Jordan, Chelsea, Cassandra, Andrea, Cameron, Keanna, Ryan, Lexie and Brittney; great grandchildren, Eston, Avah, Kacen, Payton and Tyler; and several nieces and nephews. He was also father of the late Rose, Anibal M. and Jose Raposo; and brother of the late Ilda Afonso. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, December 27th at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish. He was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
