Ann Marie Burns, 80, of Tiverton, Rhode Island passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in the comforts of her home following a long illness. She was the widow of John Marshall Burns, and former spouse of the late Manuel B Salvador. Born in Covoada, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Idalina (Fernandes) Pedro.

Prior to her retirement she the owner of Ann Marie's Beauty Boutique where she worked as a hairdresser for many years. She loved cooking, baking, crafts, knitting, and landscaping. She also enjoyed dancing "back in the day" at Lincoln Park and the Liberal Club.

She leaves her loving sons, James Salvador of Maine, John Salvador and his wife, Barbara, of Connecticut, and David Salvador of Fall River; her seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; her brother, Carlos Arruda of Fall River; many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Manuel B. Salvador, Jr. and sister of the late Joseph Fernandes.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, August 27th, at St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery both in Fall River.
