Ann Moniz, 90, formerly of Fall River and Swansea, passed away Wednesday at Somerset Ridge. Widow of John Moniz. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John and Mary Furtado. She was a retired textile worker. Beloved mother of Kevin Moniz of Fall River and Ronald Moniz of Somerset; grandmother of Ronald and Matthew Moniz, Jaclyn McGlynn, Stephanie Abdallah and Melissa Medeiros; sister of Georgianna Lafleur of Tiverton, Linda Lafleur of Fall River and the late Mary Souza, Fanny Hakeem, Emily Clay, Joseph and John Furtado. Ann also leaves 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, May 27th, in St. Dominic's Church in Swansea followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
