Anna L. Ferris, 88, of Fall River, formerly of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at home surrounded by family. She was the widow of Horace Ferris.

Born in Providence, RI, a daughter of the late John Mollicone and the late Florinda (Viccione) Mollicone, she lived in Somerset from 1968 to 1989, when she then moved to Fall River. Employed in the local textile industry during her younger years, working at the former F. R Knitting Mills and at the former Tioga Sportswear, Anna also worked at the Venus de Milo Restaurant, in Swansea, for many years, as a waitress then later in the kitchen. She and her husband had enjoyed helping to run the weekly Saturday Bingo gatherings at St. Anthony of the Desert Church.

She is survived by: two daughters, Sandra Rheaume (husband Ronald) of Fall River, and Ann Marie Peckham (fiancé Andrew Richard) of Fall River; five grandchildren, Melanie Zitz, Aimee Rheaume, Ryan Rheaume, Angelique Smith, and Andrew Richard; a great grandson, Alec; and many nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late Louis Mollicone, Arthur Mollicone, and Angela Fascitelli.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, January 10th, in St. Anthony of the Desert Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
