Anne M. Gendreau, 51, wife of Patrick Gendreau, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Nursing Home, East Greenwich, after a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Jose Vieira Paiva and the late Maria J. (Martins) Paiva.

She was employed for many years as an executive secretary with Life Inc. of Rhode Island. Anne enjoyed reading and keeping her home nicely decorated. She also loved her Coach bags and was proud of her collection.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two siblings, John C. Paiva of Dighton and Marilou Gouveia of Coventry, RI. She also leaves a niece and three nephews; and was the sister of the late Jose M. Paiva.
