Annie Shaheen, 87, of Fall River, widow of Maroon J. Shaheen, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Waterville, ME, a daughter of the late Frank Joseph and the late Mary (Saliem) Joseph, she lived in Fall River most of her life.

Employed in the local textile industry for many years until her retirement, she was a member of the former International Ladies Garment Workers Union (now UNITE). Annie was a member of the Lebanon American Society Ladies Auxillary, as well as a member of the Blessed Mother Guild of St. Anthony of the Desert Church.  She also never missed a Wednesday 'with the girls' playing cards.

She is survived by: a grandson, Joseph Shaheen Jr, and a step-grandson, Cory Archer, both of Fall River; 2 great granddaughters; and several niece & nephews. Annie was also the mother of the late Joseph Shaheen, and a sister of several predeceased siblings.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, January 18th, in St. Anthony of the Desert Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
