Anthony F. Cambra, 69, of Fall River, died Sunday at his residence after a nearly five-year battle with lung cancer. Husband of Dorothea R. (Dozois) Cambra formerly King, to whom he was married for nearly 32 years. Born in Fall River, son of the late Antone and Edith (Rodrigues) Cambra. An Army veteran, he served in Germany from 1968-1970. Tony retired last year from the Fairhaven Shipyard where he had worked for 10 enjoyable years. An avid reader, music lover and talented artist, he also was a CCD teacher for several years at the former Sacred Heart Parish. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Edward J. King, II; the loves of his life, his three grandchildren, Joshua E., Alexa N. and Samantha L. King; his daughter-in-law, Karen L. King; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tony will also be missed by his loving cats, three of whom were rescues: Edgar, Dibbie, Saugy and Simon. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, August 28th, in Good Shepherd Parish Church followed by his committal with military honors at Oak Grove Cemetery.
