Antone H. Borges, 78, husband of the late Eileen (Almeida) Borges, passed away at home on Saturday, July 8, 2017, after a short illness. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Herman and Regina (Medeiros) Borges, he worked at Globe Manufacturing for 34 years, retiring as a Production Manager from its Spandex Division. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.

His survivors include: two stepchildren, Karen (Sousa) Corinha of Mansfield and Steven D. Sousa of Lenoir City, TN; two sisters, Jacqueline Martin and Germaine Lima both of Fall River; 4 grandchildren, Jason and Madison Corinha, Cameron and Jamison Sousa; several nieces and nephews. He was also a brother of the late Fernando and James Borges.

His Funeral Service was held on Saturday, July 15th, in the Church of Our Savior, Somerset followed by his committal with military honors at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
