Antonia S. "Annie" Grota, 90, of Somerset and formerly of the Flint in Fall River, passed away on Friday. Widow of Bento M. Grota. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Jacintho B. and Maria de Jesus Martins (Gouveia) Sousa. Survivors include her daughter, Joanne Grota Mercier (husband - Kevin) of North Providence, RI; her niece, Dolores M. Raposa of Fall River as well as several nieces and nephews. The last of 12 children, she was also the sister of the late Manuel B. and Maria B. Sousa, Alzira (Elsie) S. Rego and Maria S. (Siggy) Raposa. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church on Tuesday, March 16, followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
